Fives FCB, the cement and minerals subsidiary of Fives, is opening a new subsidiary in the United States: Fives FCB USA Inc. The company will be headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., sharing the premises of Fives’ North American Construction Services.
Fives FCB USA brings U.S.-based customers easier access to Fives’ extensive portfolio of value-added, low-clinker blended cement and supplementary cementitious materials’ (SCMs) production equipment and services. In particular, it will help domestic plants improve profitability and facilitate flexible, productive and less energy-intensive operations.
“The opening of our subsidiary in the United States marks a significant milestone for Fives FCB. We are excited to bring our innovative technologies and expertise to the U.S. market, and we look forward to building strong partnerships with local industry leaders,” said Alain Cordonnier, deputy general manager of Fives and CEO of the Cement & Minerals Division.
Fives FCB is already a member of several industry associations including the Portland Cement Association (PCA) and the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA).
